Dear Karen
I saw your message yesterday and Trish's reply today. I hope her
suggestions are helpful in getting you started. I wasn't sure how much
experience you already have in doing systematic reviews. The Cochrane
Collaboration handbook should cover some of the methodological issues which
you may need to consider. There is also the Centre for Evidence-based
Dentistry which is based in Oxford and the Dental health Services Research
Unit in Dundee which may be good sources of information. URLs are:

Another good source for information for all things EBP is Netting the
Evidence A ScHARR Introduction to Evidence Based Practice on the Internet
which is written and maintained by Andrew Booth in Sheffield.
I hope this helps.
Kate.
