Open source software is great as far as I'm concerned. But there are
obviously a number of people out there who want good software they don't
have to pay money for, (I remember being a graduate student!) and aren't
interested in becoming programmers. [There are also, just as obviously,
people who wish I wouldn't talk about it ;->.]
I salute you on your efforts to go the whole route to open source, and
hope others will follow suit. I'd also be interested to see your
software when you've got it ready.
