Dear Chris
we are in the processes of setting up an RCT on OA knee in W.
Midlands and are looking to have an exercise 'arm'. Would you mind
letting us know which methods of exercise you are investigating so
that we can ensure that we do not replicate your work?
Having just completed a survey of current practice within the RCACP
interest group, it would appear that currently, PTs are not following
any specific exercise programme and that active exercises and
quads/hams strenghening are the most common methods of exercise.
Would love to hear from you on the above
Best wishes
Nadine
