Dear friends,
This term, I am doing a reading class together with Marc-Aeilko Aris,
on the "Opusculum de conversione sua" of Hermann, formely Judah ben
David ha-Levi of Cologne (first half of the 12th century).
I've already compiled quite a little bibliography (if anyone's
curious, just let me know), and I'm also thinking about a web-page
devoted to Hermannus. I wonder if there's anybody out there who is
also conducting research on the "Opusculum" just now, apart from
Jean-Claude Schmitt who I know is busy writing up a new book.
Any ideas, suggestions, new readings, provocations ...?
Cheers,
Christoph
