The British Antarctic Survey has multiple duplicate copies of the
following
publication .
Hattersley-Smith, G., 1991 The History of Place-names in the British
Antarctic Territory British Antarctic Survey Scientific Reports No. 113,
British Antarctic Survey, Cambridge.
This can be given away on a first come first served basis and will be
posted to any takers.
If you want it you'll have to hurry, believe that any that are left are
going to be skipped within the next week!!!!
The publication compliments the official HMSO gazetteer of Antarctica,
giving full historical information of every approved place-name, up to
publication date, including which published maps the names appear on and
full expedition histories. It is 700 pages long, in 2 volumes.....an
invaluable must for any Antarctic study.
If you want a copy, let me know as soon as possible, with your full
postal
address....

The folio consists of roughly 8 maps detailing the physical features of
Antarctica, e.g. bedrock, ice thicknesses etc
