Dear Sir,
Which version of The Cochrane Library, are you using.
Issue's prior to 1998 Issue 4, had a bug in the import export routine.
However if you are using 1998 Issue 4 and above, exporting search
strategy's to the floppy drive, is exactly the same as exporting to the
hard drive.
Sorry for any Inconvenience

Subject: Help with Cochrane searching
Dear colleagues
Can anyone help ? I am trying to work out how to save and load
search strategies from cochrane - The version of the handbook we have
at our University library does not cover this.
We are using a networked verison of cochrane so need to save onto
floppy. I have worked out how to save the strategy onto a disc using
export command and reload using import command but when i press
run and load i get a message saying that it doesn't recognise the
words and the search strategy runs (or at least appears in the box)
but always has a (0) in the hits box. In a similar way I thought
cochrane strategies could be run on medline and vice versa but I
get the same problem when i try to load strategies on either.
Any ideas ?
