Hi:
I'm looking for any brief input people can give me on how academic
librarians mostly (but not exclusively) handle the issue of "research
misconduct."
I'm especially viewing it from the perspective of ethics and does a
Reference Librarian for example owe it to their public to provide only
accurate and valid information even though it might take a lot of
additional time and research to delve into retractions, erratas etc.
(Mostly in the sciences field for example)
If anyone has any personal experience or strong ethical beliefs on the
subject I'd appreciate hearing them in the next couple of days.
Thank you in advance.
