Dear Ann,
As Turkey around 1805 encompassed a rather large area as the Ottoman empire I looked into the Sthetl-Seeker and came up with the following possibilities:
HASAN - N 41 29 /E 19 42 - Albania - 12.4 miles NNW of Tirane
HASANI - N 44 50 /E 16 21 - Bosnia and Herzegovina - 123.2 miles NW of Sarajevo
HASANI (ARYIROUPOLIS) - N 37 54 /E 23 45 - Greece - 5.8 miles S of Athens
HAZANE (AZANE) - N 42 57 /E 19 57 - Montenegro - 132.9 miles SSW of Belgrade
There were phonetically, however, 1,158 matches of this toponym in Central- and Eastern Europe.
