apologies for x-posting
A colleague is seeking to answer the following question.
Does giving oral drugs to inpatients in acute medical wards at 8am by
day staff reduce the rate of drug administration errors compared
to giving the drugs being given at 6am by the night staff. (yes I am
afraid people are still being woken up to be given their tablets at
6am !)
she has searched medline/cinahl cochrane using a variety of search
terms (she is a beginner though!) and has only come up with a few
dated nursing times articles which are not based on any research
evidence.
Does anybody have any other suggestions/ ideas ?
thanks
mark
