Dear all,
In my tradition of following-up Rob Butlers' ground-breaking work.... here
is a very similar announcement about NERC PhD opportunities, this time at
Durham !
The closing date for PhD applications process this year for NERC projects
(UK citizens) is March 1st with interviews on 17-19 March. Consequently if
you know of any likely applicants (final year undergraduate students,
Masters or recent graduates) - please urge them to get their
application/enquiries in quickly.
Full details of projects can be found at:
http://www.dur.ac.uk/~dgl0www/PhD/phdlst99.html
whilst more general details about the Department can be found at
http://www.dur.ac.uk/~dgl0www
Anyone who wants to apply for a PhD should write to the first-named
supervisor enclosing a full cv and the names of 2-3 academic referees.
Durham also has taught MSc courses and details of these can be found on the
same Dept Web pages.
Thanks for another great idea Rob !!
