Speaking from the student media side of the fence, general
access webcasting opens a whole can of worms, not least the
licence and the PRS issues. However, I believe that if the
broadcasts are confined to campus (ie, the station's
conventional TSA), it shouldn't add any additional problems.
We're looking at starting tests on streaming broadcasts (but
not RealServer) at some point in the future. Respecting the
fact that our campus networks are pretty heavily used anyway,
we only intend to broadcast "off-peak" (== evenings and
weekends) for now.
