Do any of you webcast or allow your students to webcast
commercial music or adverts across the Internet?
I understand that the Internet is not officially classified
as a broadcasting region as such and so the current
licences that radio stations have cover webcasting.
I also undertand that the BBC decided not to take this risk
but that Capitol and Virgin have done.
How do other insitutions feel about this? We have a student
radio station itching to webcast but feel a little uneasy
about allowing this.
