I am looking for information on Greek style WCs as part of a
project to develop more sustainable systems. I would like data on
flush volumes, outlet pipe diameters, downstream pipe sizes, sizes
of solids which cause blockages and manufacturers of these types
of WC. I would like to promote their use in new houses in the UK,
so I am also interested in Building regulation problems around the
world, where the size of the outlet pipe is controlled.
One problem is that the Greek systems are not supposed to take
toilet paper, and I don't think most western countries (particularly
the Canadians, who consume most per capita world resources
according to the UNDP this year, would be willing not to flush toilet
paper!
