Can you help me with an anatomy query?
Long shot: my work on Robert Willis (Jacksonian
Prof in Cambridge) is leading me towards William Clark
- Cambridge anatomy professor c.1815-1860s and
Willis's brother in law. I know that Willis made -
and perhaps marketed anatomical models; I suspect
that Willis was doing this for Clark; can you think of
any way I might locate Willis's anatomical models?
Willis also produced other bits of mechanical/anatomical
apparatus - e.g., an "osteological lathe"; and an
"osteological cymagraph" that I think, again, were
for more than W's personal enjoyment... How might
I go about tracking down such a thing, or a record of
such a thing?
I'd be grateful for any suggestions
Cheers
