The closest many science degrees get to a consideration of health and safety
is a tedious lecture on rules, regulations and procedures in induction week.
We want to introduce a health and safety thread that is weaved through
successive modules so that (1) our science and science-teaching
undergraduates are aware of all the issues during their time with us (2)
they have a solid grounding to take to subsequent careers.
Can anyone in staffdev advise on good models of this that already exist?
