Dear All,
Just a reminder that registration forms for the Faraday Discussion in
Leeds July 5-7 1999 need to be in by May 7 if you want to take advantage of
the cheaper rates.
Details of the meeting (including registration forms) are available at
http://www.chem.leeds.ac.uk/faraday113/
If you haven't received any of the publicity material in the post please
take a moment to check out the programme. This promises to be a very lively
Discussion with papers in the following areas:
* Excited State Dynamics
* Experimental Control Strategies
* Bimolecular Reaction Dynamics
* Oriented Molecules
* Control Concepts
* Vector Correlations
* Phase and Chirp Control
* Surface Reaction Dynamics
You are reminded that all participants will receive preprints of all the
papers before the meeting to give you time to prepare comments for the
Discussion. You are encourage to bring any *relevant* material on
preprepared overhead transparencies etc.
Facilities for multimedia presentations will be available but remember that
much of the Discussion is spontaneous and there will not be time for
elaborate set-up of material.
The registration fee for students is only 30 sterling (15 for student
members of the RSC) and a number of bursaries are available to help with
accommodation & travel costs.
The deadline for poster contributions was officially midnight today but I
am willing to consider anything that arrives before May 7.
Please note that poster abstracts should be sent to me while registration
forms should be sent to Shazia Riaz at the Royal Society of Chemistry
office in London. Abstracts that have been sent in during the last week
should be going up on the web site over the weekend.
Best regards,
Ben Whitaker
