Contact Paul Sowan, chairman Sub Brit. He, and many more Sub Brit member,
have very good contacts with the Bath quarries, mostly underground. They
are active at preserving Coombe-down quarry, etc. I myself visited David
Pollards Museum several times, the last time in 1992, and it is realy good
for information. As far as I know it is still active.
I have several books on Bath stone quarrying, but I'm sure Paul Sowan can
give you a much more elaborate bibliography.
