If anyone has the reprinted version of Englemann's fascinating book, "Labor
Among Primitive Peoples," originally published in 1882, they will find a
number of references to "various kinds of external manipulation" in labor,"
especially by Mexican and American Indian peoples. these were used for the
purpose of exciting muscular activity and mechanically forcing out the
contents of the (uterine) cavity." Apparently, Novatrix has developed a
"contemporary" device.
I find it "mind blowing," to say the least. Has anyone contacted Novatrix
for info about the research? I'd be glad to have further info on the
research....
Thanks for the input. Diony
