How long is a piece of string??
Everyone's cycle is different so it's difficult to answer this one
accurately. All I can say is ovulation tends to occur 14 days before menses.
The best way to assess when you ovulate is to buy an ovulation prediction kit
which will turn positive 24 - 36 hours before ovulation. I can tell you they
are very good, heaven knows i used enough of them through my fertility
treatment!! You can buy them for about £20 a box of 5 at Boots. Also
monitoring your basal body temperatures can tell you when you ovulate (a
temperature rise occurs when you ovulate but if you are wanting the info in
order to conceive, this on its own is no good as once you have ovulated, its
to late).
For further information I highly recommend the book "Taking Charge of Your
Fertility" by Toni Wescler - readily available on online book shops,
including Amazon.
