Dear all,
I am working on high-Al metapelites that are characterised by sequential
formation of mineral assemblages in kyanite, sillimanite and andalusite
stability fields.
Coexisting rutile inclusions in garnet porphyroblast cores with relic
kyanite-ilmenite aggregates in the matrix are supposed to represent GRAIL
association.
My question is:
Does anyone know what is the influence of Mn concentration in ilmenite on
the GRAIL geobarometry?
I should be grateful for any opinions, comments or references.
Best regards
