Could anyone out there give me a tip on where to find information about the
so-called "feelbad" factor which supposedly is a recent trend in films, for
example in Noès "Seul contre tous" (I stand alone)? That is, films that are
pessimistic or dystopic, that make the audience fear and loath the main
characters rather than sympatize with them, films that make the audience
anxious but without much open violence, but rather through the constant
fear of what the characters might do.Sexuality is often discussed just as
pedofilia or pornography. The films often question the possiblility of
morals in modern societies, and quite opposite of Hollywood films, they
never ever have a happy ending...
