According to David Harper (Metropolitan Police Forensic
Science Laboratory, London), "Collection and Storage of
Specimens for Alcohol Analysis" in Medicolegal Aspects of
alcohol Determination in Biological Specimen (1988):
"Standard 5-mL glass vials containing sodium fluoride and
an anticoagulant (potassium oxalate) are usually used.
When dissolved in 2 mL of blood, concentrations of
approximately 15 mg/mL and 4 mg/mL, respecitvely, are
obtained."
