Dear colleagues
The ACB is the most active mail list among those I have joined, everyday it
brings me not only joys but also thoughts and professional knowledge when I
think about the answer of a question or see someone response my problem and
answer. I think that it is mainly because everyone obeys (conscientiously
or unconscientiously) the law of openning and sharing information, no
matter how difficulty or simple the problem and the answer are. It is just
this that the life of our this mail list exists. As if the mail list were
the tree we planted, everyone, whoever once join it, in this mail list
should have the responsibility to cherish, preserve and maintain it,
although this mail list is a "free" forum.
Now, we should consider thoroughly that where Dr. Marshall's question will
lead us and our mail list. For such question that makes chaos and might
break our mail list, we had spent too much time on it. I sincerely vote to
keep our mail list public.
With the best wishes!
Dr. Zheng Dong

Dear colleagues
May we establish a policy that replies to queries posted on the mailbase
are directed to the enquirer, not to the whole mailbase?
