Dear collegue,
We have a patient with Lyme disease and two IgG kappa bands in the
serum. Upon bone marrow aspiration, no sign of plasma cell
myeloma was found. There has been a report of a murine monoclonal
reacting with a protein of the Lyme disease spirochete. We have a
goat monoclonal for immunofixation. Is there anyone familiar with
this phenomenon? Is this a false positive reaction?
Best regards
