>Does anyone use a Near Patient Testing device for urine Drugs of Abuse...etc
copy of reply, for information:-
Dear Mary Macleod,
Our DOA Clinic Staff, & our A/E Consultants, each started to use
"Sure-Step" stix tests well over a year ago, bought from their own budgets.
So, with their agreement, we stopped doing any lab-based DOA testing 12/12
ago.
In practice now, one or two other units also buy them, others wanting a
one-off test come to an arrangement with one of the above. I can't tell
you about training or QC/QA, however.
I think you can get blurb, and/or buy the stix from Euromed in London on
(new number style) on 020-7706-7132.
Best wishes, Les Culank.
