Sorry, yes.
It sometimes helps us to think separately of two aspects of A&E urgency:-
1. The need to collect the sample urgently, get it done and ticked on the
list, and sent to the lab; and then proceed to the next clinical problem.
2. The timescale for analysis and reporting results.
For the case in point, having successfully achieved the first, one can then
deal with the practicalities etc of the second.
