The Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American
History is seeking to fill a curatorial position in the
Division of Science, Medicine & Society. Qualified
candidates must have knowledge of the history of American
medicine, especially the history of medical technologies and
instrumentation. The successful candidate will also have
demonstrated ability in working with museum collections and
exhibitions, experience in working collaboratively on
complex projects, and skill in public history, demonstrating
sensitivity and commitment to addressing diverse audiences
and constituencies in a fair and balanced manner. Salary
begins at $48,796.
