Dear Laura,
It may be my confused mind after being up all night but I seem to
recall a duty of care which covered midwives practising in the UK.
Breech birth as you no doubt are aware carries with it some increased
risks however if these risks are objectively put before you and you
decide that homebirth is still the place of choice I think your midwife
has a duty to you to either replace her services with someone who will
support you, or after giving you the information and her
recommendations discuss the suituation with her supervisory midwife and
should still attend you.
Forgive me if I'm prattling.
Love and hope all goes how you wish.
HAVE a BEAUTIFUL bIRTH!!!!!!!
NIGEL AND CATHY.
