I agree with job security....but what nice long hols????!! As our library
is open year around, we only get 20 -28 days a year annual leave, not the
long annual leave that lecturers get...
However, I have to say.......the librarians and assistants in the Library
and Resource Centres here are very highly valued by lecturers and senior
managers. But we have worked very hard at demonstrating our value to
lecturing staff and managers........and it is nice to be valued.........
