Does anyone have experience of using the Eurovoc thesaurus? Can you help a
colleague with the question we have below? Or does anyone have contact
information for technical support for Eurovoc?
Very many thanks in advance for your help,

Eurovoc's database contains about 6000 entries linked in networks of broad,
narrow and related terms. The terms in the Eurovoc database (ms access) are
associated with a unique number indicated as CID and a string code called
GRECLAT. Every term has a CID and a GRECLAT.
Eurovoc 'reads' these GRECLAT strings which are related with every term and
determines the broader, related or narrow terms of each entry. For example
the term
acid rain is a narrow term of degradation of the environment.
Examples of the CID and GRECLAT codes are
acid rain cid:4165 greclat:ONIMG BQOWG
degradation of the Environ.
cid:371 greclat:TPOBAHLIRG SOT PEQIBAKKOMSOR
We need to know how the greclat code is translated to reveal related, narrow
and broad terms.
