Dear Trish,
If you go to the mainpage at "http://www2.alfea.it/", you will find links
to two different versions at the bottom of the page, one of them titled
"Shockwave" (which only suggests but does not really mean that you will be
electrocuted if you dare to go there without having the required plug-in),
and the other one titled "No Shockwave": the latter is what you want, and
you can also reach it directly by going to
"http://manetta.alfea.it/Inoplug-in/"
Yet even this simpler version requires a browser which supports frames
(quite many of them) and JavaScript. The design is unmistakeably Italian,
like Italian shoes which as everybody knows are the best in the world
unless you want to walk in them; and the contents, all joking set aside,
are excellent: an invaluable resource. Thank you Michele, for pointing it
out to us.
Best,
Otfried
