I've noticed recently that there have been a few messages which have had
attachments - Mailbase ask, if at all possible, that people don't send
attachments to their lists as it causes all sorts of problems e.g. many
people's e-mail programs can't cope with them or if they are dialling in
they have to spend a long time downloading an attachment which they may not
be interested in.
If you want to share a file with people on a list mailbase suggest that you
either 1) describe the file in a message and offer to send the attachment
individually to people who e-mail you and ask for it or 2) post the file
into the message in plain text.
For more information about mailbase's recommendations on attachments see
