A one-day workshop on encouraging inventive approaches to problem
solving and decision making
The Dearing Review amongst other recent reports, identifies the need for
organisations to be more creative in their thinking and innovative in
their approach. This one day workshop intended for senior staff in
libraries and information units, will help you:
* understand the importance of encouraging innovative approaches
to problem solving
* practise individual and group techniques to encourage innovation
at work
* consider ways to encourage creativity in ourselves and our
colleagues
* explore approaches which promote innovation in the workplace and
help staff to respond positively to change
* encourage an exchange of ideas and experience
* develop individual and service action plans
