offering library, media and computing facilities.
Following our successful bid under the recent British Library Research
and Innovation Centre's "Value and impact" call for proposals,
applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant on a
project entitled "Barriers to libraries as agents of Lifelong
Learning".
You must be a graduate, preferably in the Social Sciences or
Psychology field, with good communication skills, some previous
research experience and a practical knowledge of the use of Libraries
and IT. It is also desirable for applicants to have a higher degree,
a qualification in Library and Information Science and practical
experience of statistical packages.
