There are several ways to get in touch with vendors. Some have Web sites;
some have representatives who go to academic conferences; all of them
tend to go to library meetings. Anyone affiliated with a larger academic
institution in the US might be able to find a librarian, the Collection
Development person or a subject specialist, who receives these mailings.
Also, there is a microforms in print publication, but it is not always up
to date. Since I do, as our collection development person, receive these
mailings, the simplest solution for colleagues at smaller institutions or
working in non academic jobs would be to pop me an e-mail inquiry.
