The Department of Classics at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan,
announces an interdisciplinary conference entitled "The Making of Christian
Communities in Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages." Co-convenors of this
event are Brian Patrick McGuire (Roskilde University) and myself.
Conference dates are Nov. 5-7, 1998.
