Can someone help me?
I am currently doing some research on the recent 'Disability Discrimination Act
(1995)' in the UK, particularly in relation to employment.
I am interested to compare this with similar legislation in other countries,
including New Zealand.
If anyone has information on the following I would be extremely grateful (please
reply off-list to [log in to unmask]):
1. Does New Zealand have a form of anti-discrimination legislation in relation
to disability?
2. If it does, when was it enacted and what are its major aspects, particularly
in relation to employment?
3. What are good sources of information and opinion on the Act - official and
unoffcial? Are they available on the Web?
Thanks to anyone who can help.
best wishes, Edward Hall
