>the Western Church* (Toronto, 1971) on medieval processions?
Dear Gary,
If a theological dissertation (U Bochum, 1993) with a certain historical
perspective is of interest to you, I can refer you to:
FELBECKER Sabine
Die Prozession: historische und systematische Untersuchungen
zu einer liturgischen Ausdruckshandlung. Altenberge: Oros-
Verlag, 1995 (= Mu"nsteraner theologische Abhandlungen, 39),
743 pp.
I suppose that Felicitas Schmieder ([log in to unmask]) after
having switched from Mongols to Frankfurtian saints should by now be an
excellent source for the history of processions in Frankfurt. Felicitas is
still a member of our list but seems to have set her options to no_mail.
Best,
Otfried
