Dear Joe,
This must be Lazarus of Bethany, whom Jesus raised from the dead, patron
saint of grave-diggers. Pious legend has him travel to France and become
the first bishop of Marseilles. His feast is 17 Dec in the Roman
Martyrology. The translation of his relics was kept at Autun on 20
October.
Cheers,
Martin
