I recently ran across two quotes on an end leaf of a manuscript, and I'm
hoping someone out there in never-never land can help me identify them.
In the following transcription, what I'm calling *quam* is actually a "q"
with a diagonal line from right to left through the descender which then
turns back horizontally through the descender once again, something like a
2; it also has a superscript cc just to the right of the "q". I couldn't
find this in either Capelli or Bischoff.
The leaf has Jhesu Amen at the very top of the page with the following
text:
Augustinus dicit [in top margin]
jeiunaret
Albertus magnus dicit [centered]
integrum psalterium
Any leads, help, commentary, whatever, either public or private, will be
greatly appreciated.
