Dear Aline,
Thank you for this. I recall that many years ago there was a rather syrupy
song that went "When the swallows come back to Capistrano..." but I never
looked it up in an atlas and had assumed that the place was in Italy. In
Europe we know the swallows migrate to Africa: from where do they return to
California in the spring?
As to other saints, I can think of St Cuthbert and (obviously) St Francis
straight off, but can list members tell me of others?
