Hello all.
Aside from the brief discussion in the introduction to Crane's
edition of the exempla of Jacques de Vitry (_The Exempla or Illustrative
Stories from the Sermones Vulgares of J de V_, 1890, reprinted 1971), I
was wondering if anyone out there might know of any studies (of any
magnitude whatsoever) done on this particular text:
_Fabularum anecdotorumque collectio ad usum Praedicantium in seriem
alphabeticam digestam_
The text itself is located in British Library MS Add. 11,284.
I know it's not much to go on, but any nudges - or even blatantly violent
shoves - in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Eric.
