If you can ever get to Poitiers, the abbatial church (a real gem-- worth
more than the 2 stars Mich. gives it) of Ste. Radegonde is painted up to
beat the band. The 4th cent baptistry of St. Jacques and the abbatial
church of St. Hilaire also retain much of their Romanesque coloring.
