(go and visit the church of Albi, a fine and impressive, maybe the most
impressive example of a church of the later MA).
Dear Bram.
Ste-Cecile d'Albi church is not really a construction of the later M.A. The
construction started in the 13th century, and the bigest part of the
building was done around 1380. The only "late M.A. additions to the
building" are the Last Jugment wall-painting (1480), the choir screen and
the "jube"(1500-10), the wall-painting on the vaults (1512), and the famous
south porch (1535).
Cheers.
