yes we Jews (traditionally observant) do kneel, even prostrate ourselves
several times on Yom Kippur (Day of At-one-ment) during the recitation of the
Aleynu prayer. curious thing is that the kneeling is an acting out of the
words of the prayer: "We bend our knee, bow down, and give thanks . . ." This
prayer is recited three times daily in the tradiitonal liturgy, but with out
the enactment. The reasons are a longer story.
