Do you mean the loan of course reading texts or teaching resources texts?
Sometimes the staff here ask the Library to organise the purchase of books
which students can buy. This proved very timeconsuming and now I have
non-library clerical assistance to do it. We organise a Blackwells
Booksale every year which gives students the chance to buy reading list
books at a discount. I feel that is appropriate as it eases the burden on
our stocks and also helps us keep an eye on reading lists.
Hope this helps
