Subject: Netiquette
|Nobody can do or even think anything about this until she/he has read
|Duncan's original article in FIRST OFFENSE, and that seems to be the most
|difficult thing of all.
It can be copied... Send stamps to cover postage and cost of copying
|We would also want to know what the exact purpose of any concerted action
|was to be, other than revenge.
Revenge is boring. The first support I got on this was "kick him in the
balls" wch is not my strategy. And I have just had a bilateral proposal:
ju-jitsu attack followed by a campaign of lies about the man
Aims:
- to establish a sense of pride in our own work and selves - WE won't be
treated like this, any of us - instead of "how I have eked out a sense of
purpose since the Arts Council took my Pot Soc"
- to let the victim(s) know that we support them
- to increase all our chances of being supported in like circumstances
- to discourage others from imitating AD or TF
- to discourage Andrew Duncan / Tim Fletcher from future such behaviour
