John, I assumed the intro would introduce the Poems. I don`t know
how I feel about it only appearing in the catalogue. Was an intro
to intro the Book ever considered? Included, the intro written by
you and Rod Mengham would have been tremendously useful to most
readers, and to open-minded reviewers; it would also have become a
target for idiot-reviewers, of course, as the Book itself will no
doubt be.
Also, is the book to be spotted in bookshops yet? You and your
colleagues on this venture deserve a massive vote of thanks for the
labour (of love), for ensuring its proper distribution &c., and I
think it is remarkable, astonishing, that the paperback of a book of
this length will retail at only twelve pounds.
