- actually, we're re-visioning the roles of Pope, Archbishop of
Canterbury, Chief Rabbi etc., replacing them with a number of more
accessible, more enabling, community-based High Priesthoods co-ordinated
by a network of High Priestly Administrators and funded by the lottery
under its "Ritual For All" Programme, aka The People's Sacrifice.
Shortlist considerations for the (purely titular) High Priesthoods
currently include Eric Mottram, Frances Horovitz and Ted Hughes, but
others nominations are welcome as long as they meet the basic selection
criteria. See our policy document "Dead Literature - Going Through The
Motions" available from our Backward Planning Department.
