We have a 33 year old female patient who is definitely ill. She has an odd
variety of non-specific symptoms; appears to have soom food allergies (but
does not suffer an immediate reaction). In addition her weight fluctuates
markedly for no apparent reason. ESR is hgigh. Soewhat stumped, our allergy
specialist requested an auto-antibody screen; and this showed a positive
reaction to anticannalicular antibody. Does anyone know what this means? Is
it likely to be significant?
Thanks
